Markedet holder til i en ombygd sosialistisk fabrikkhall der de originale maskinkrokene fortsatt henger fra taket over fruktbodene.
Høydepunkter: Går du forbi inngangen, vil du høre den karakteristiske rytmiske hakkingen fra čvarci-produsenter som har solgt sine svinesvors fra samme betongplate i tre tiår. En eldre soppselger sorterer sine viltplukkede sopper etter fargenyanser på et blått presenning, et syn som ligner mer på moderne kunst enn handel.

- Look for the woman near the back wall selling homemade rakija from unlabeled plastic bottles, her plum brandy is the best in the market.
- Go hungry and order a fresh burek from the bakery stall at the north entrance, they bake them continuously until noon.
- Avoid the first row of stalls closest to the entrance, they cater to tourists with higher prices, walk deeper into the hall for better deals.
