Høydepunkter: At kilometer marker 2.3, look for a small bronze plaque embedded in the pavement marking where the original 1890s tramline used to curve inland. Stand there at sunset and you'll catch the exact moment the sun drops perfectly between the bell towers of Santa Ana Cathedral, a phenomenon locals call "the golden corridor."

- Bring swim trunks and a towel, there are five free public access points to Las Canteras beach right off the promenade.
