Raske fakta: To gigantiske drageblodstrær, hvert over 300 år gammelt, preger parkens hovedplass. Mer enn 80 arter av tropiske og subtropiske planter trives her, og skaper en tett urban oase.
Høydepunkter: På søndagsmorgener forvandles parken til et friluftsdansgulv hvor lokalbefolkningen i alle aldre samles til spontane salsa- og timba-økter under fikustrærne. Det beste stedet er nær den gamle trepaviljongen, hvor de opphøyde steinbenkene gir førsteradsutsikt til par som spinner til levende congatrommer.

- Enter through the side gate on Calle Buenos Aires to avoid the crowds at the main entrance and discover a quieter shaded corner with stone benches.
- The small cactus garden near the eastern edge has a hidden bench that faces the dragon trees, perfect for early morning photos without people in the frame.
- Bring a book or sketchpad on weekday afternoons, the benches around the central fountain are surprisingly quiet between 2pm and 5pm.
- Skip the playground area if you're not traveling with kids, the real charm is in the northern garden wing with its winding paths and hidden statues.
