Raske fakta: Samlingen rommer over 25.000 gjenstander fra romertiden, med skulpturer, mosaikker og hverdagsgjenstander som forteller historien om det gamle Tarraco. Et av de mest praktfulle stykkene er en stor mosaikk av Medusa fra 200-tallet, som dekker et helt gallerigulv med intrikate detaljer som fortsatt føles levende etter 1700 år.
Høydepunkter: Gå inn i hovedsalen, og du vil stå rett over en bevart strekning av det opprinnelige romerske sirkuset hvor vognene en gang tordnet forbi. Museets glassgulv lar deg kikke ned på de gamle brosteinene og dreneringskanalene, og får deg til å føle deg som en arkeolog som oppdager byen lag for lag.
