Raske fakta: Gulvet inni er brolagt med tunge sandsteinsheller brakt helt fra Nederland som ballast i 1700-tallsskip. Opprinnelig et portugisisk kloster, ble bygningen omgjort til en nederlandsk reformert kirke i 1755 og holder fortsatt søndagsgudstjenester på både singalesisk og tamilsk.
Høydepunkter: Se ned på gulvet og du finner værbitte gravsteiner fra 1700-tallet, med utskårne hodeskaller og korsben slitt glatte av 250 års fottrinn. En gravsten minnes den nederlandske guvernørens kone som døde til sjøs, kroppen hennes begravd rett her under kirkebenkene hvor familier nå synger salmer hver søndag.
