Raske fakta: Den romerske keiseren Hadrian besøkte Antalya i år 130 e.Kr., og denne trebuete marmorporten ble bygget for å markere hans ankomst. Porten var skjult under århundrer med bymurer helt til 1950-tallet, da en forsiktig utgraving avdekket den i nær perfekt stand.
Høydepunkter: Se nøye på de to flankerende tårnene ved porten: det sørlige er original romersk konstruksjon, mens det nordlige ble gjenoppbygget av seldsjukkturker århundrer senere, noe som skapte en utilsiktet tidskapsel fra to imperier. De intrikate blomsterutskjæringene langs buegangene viser fremdeles spor av den opprinnelige malingen som en gang ga dem liv.
