Raske fakta: Ullproduksjon gjorde denne byen enormt rik i oldtiden, med lokale sauer kjent for sin dype purpursvarte ull. Et massivt jordskjelv jevnet byen med jorden på 600-tallet, og ruinene ble liggende begravd under 10 meter med alluvialt slam.
