Rýchle fakty: So 70 kupolami a desiatimi minaretmi je táto mešita jedinečná v celom Bangladéši. Je postavená z terakoty a ručne vyrábanej tehly a každá kupola má iný dekoratívny motív.
Zaujímavosti: Keď sa postavíte pod centrálnu kupolu a pozriete sa hore, uvidíte, že žiadna zo 70 kupol nie je rovnaká: každá má svoj geometrický vzor nakreslený rukou. Miestni majstri vtlačili viac ako 25 rôznych islamských motívov priamo do tehly, bez jedinej použitej farby.

- Wear long sleeves and pants out of respect, and bring a scarf to cover your head.
- The best photos are taken from the southeastern corner of the courtyard, where most of the domes are visible at once.
- Be sure to take off your shoes before entering and leave them in the designated area, not on the stairs.
