Zaujímavosti: Každý večer chrám ožíva fascinujúcim predstavením Theyyam, 2 000 rokov starým rituálnym tancom, kde sa účinkujúci pretransformujú na živé božstvá pomocou prepracovaných kostýmov a tranových pohybov. Hlavné božstvo nie je nikdy zobrazené vyrezávanou sochou, ale bronzovým zrkadlom nazývaným valkannadi, ktoré odráža tvár každého veriaceho, keď pred ním stojí.
