O
Rýchle fakty: Three separate cascades tumble 18 meters into a turquoise pool, surrounded by a 100-meter canyon carved through ancient rock. The waterfall flows year-round, fed by the Aksu River, and powers a small hydroelectric plant nearby.
Zaujímavosti: A wooden walkway snakes behind the main cascade, letting you feel the spray on your face while looking out through the falling water at the canyon beyond. Seven smaller pools form along the canyon floor, each one a different shade of blue-green depending on the sunlight filtering through the pines.
Insiderské tipy
- Visit on a weekday morning before 10 AM to have the walkways almost to yourself.
- The left-side path descending into the canyon offers the best photo angle of the full cascade at once.
- Bring water shoes in summer so you can dip your feet in the shallow pools below the falls.
- Skip the crowded main platform and cross the lower bridge for a quieter, unobstructed view upward.
