The best time to arrive is early in the morning, right when it opens (10 a.m.), when there are not many visitors yet and the heat is not as exhausting. From January to March the weather is most pleasant, as you avoid both the rainy season and the scorching summer heat.

Brze činjenice: Palača je smeštena na platformi visokoj 11 metara i zauzima površinu od više od 30.000 kvadratnih metara. Na drugom spratu se nalazi kupolna sala nazvana „Darbar Hall“, čiji su zidovi ukrašeni bogatim zlatnim ornamentima.
Istaknuto: Kupolna sala ove rezidencije bila je toliko prostrana da je u nju moglo stati 300 gostiju odjednom, a vetar iz obližnje reke Burigange donosio je svež dah kroz posebno dizajnirane prozorske otvore. Terase na krovu omogućavale su vlasnicima da posmatraju život na reci, a noću su ovde paljene uljane lampe čija se svetlost videla kilometrima unaokolo.

- Photograph the palace facade from the Buriganga River side, especially at sunset, when the pink hue becomes the most vivid.
- Wear comfortable shoes, as there are many stairs on the second floor and no elevator.
- Hire a guide at the entrance (costs about 200 baht) and you will get much more interesting stories than from the information boards.
- Avoid the midday heat from April to October, when temperatures exceed 35°C and humidity makes being there unpleasant.
