You’ll catch the smell of freshly brewed espresso mixing with wood smoke from grilled sausages, while live bands play Czech folk or jazz on floating stages along the water.
Istaknuto: One quirky tradition has vendors ringing a bell at noon to announce the 'fresh-catch' fish arrivals, with fishermen unloading around 20 crates of river trout and carp most Saturdays. Nearby, the Novák family stall displays honey jars labeled by village and elevation, offering tasters that let you discern floral, thyme or forest notes by smell and texture.
