Three separate viewing platforms, including one with a giant bronze compass rose, help visitors orient themselves across Nice's red-tiled rooftops and sparkling coastline.
Istaknuto: An ancient olive tree near the western edge is over 1,000 years old, its gnarled trunk scarred by lightning strikes and centuries of coastal winds. On clear days, the golden limestone ruins of the 11th-century cathedral below seem to glow at sunset, casting the entire park in warm amber light.
