Brze činjenice: Prema zoroastrijskom pogrebnom obredu, tela su na ovom uzvišenju izlagana lešinarima. U kulama sagrađenim u 6. veku danas se više ne održavaju obredi, ali je duh ovog mesta i dalje jednako snažan.
Istaknuto: U unutrašnjosti kula nema ničega zastrašujućeg i nema nijednog spektakularnog arhitektonskog elementa. Ono što se na vrhu brda može osetiti jeste potpuna tišina i ona 2500 godina stara mudrost da smrt ne znači kraj života, već povratak u prirodu.
