Brze činjenice: U zalivu Ifati se prostire jedan od najvećih koralnih grebena u jugozapadnom Indijskom okeanu, koji se pruža više od 20 kilometara duž obale. U okolnim vodama živi više od 130 vrsta korala i skoro 500 vrsta riba, a u sezoni se tu zadržavaju i grbavi kitovi.
Istaknuto: Kada prošetaš plažom za oseke, u plićaku možeš posmatrati šarene morske zvezde i male hobotnice koje se kriju među stenovitim bazenima. Baš ovde, među mangrovama i dinama, obitava retka vrsta sifake Vereo, vrsta lemura, koju nalaziš samo na Madagaskaru.
