Brze činjenice: Stretching over 120 kilometers through central Riyadh, this sprawling valley transforms into a roaring river during winter rains. The 80-kilometer rehabilitation project turned a degraded flood channel into a thriving green corridor now visited by over 500,000 people annually.
Istaknuto: At sunset, look up at the cliffs lining the valley walls: dozens of watchtowers from the 19th century still stand guard, their mud-brick silhouettes glowing orange against the fading light. One tower near Al-Ilb District still has original wooden beams and palm-frond roofing intact, exactly as built over 150 years ago.
