Brze činjenice: Smešten u okviru ogromnog tvrđavskog kompleksa iz 18. veka, ovaj muzej čuva preko 300.000 artefakata koji obuhvataju period od praistorije do Drugog svetskog rata. Među njegovim blagom su srednjovekovni viteški oklopi, oružje iz osmanskog doba i lični predmeti srpske kraljevske porodice.

Istaknuto: Jedna od najupečatljivijih izložbi je originalna kapija iz opsade Beograda 1456. godine, koja i dalje nosi duboke ožiljke od udara topovskih đulata i udaraca mačem. Prstima doslovno možete pratiti iste brazde koje su osmanska topovska đulad usekla pre skoro 600 godina.
