Brze činjenice: Demänovská pećina slobode ima 8 kilometara prolaza, od čega je 2,1 kilometar otvoren za posetioce, a ulaz se nalazi u 60 metara dubokom ponoru. Otkrivena je 1921. godine i od tada je jedna od najposećenijih pećina sa sigama u Slovačkoj, koju godišnje poseti više od 200 000 turista.
Istaknuto: Jedna od najimpresivnijih dvorana pećine je Katedrala visoka 45 metara, gde vitki stubovi od siga koji vise sa tavanice blistaju pod svetlošću reflektora kao da su isklesani od dragog kamenja. Odraz kristalno čistih jezera i stalna temperatura od 16 °C stvaraju posebnu mikroklimu kakvu nećete naći nigde drugde.

- Put on a thick sweater even in summer, as the cave is a constant 6-7 degrees throughout.
- Photography is permitted even without a tripod, but flash does not bring out many formations nicely, so try to take advantage of the natural colored lighting.
- The last daily tour is usually less crowded than the morning time slots.
- The parking lot in front of the cave is free, but in the tourist season it is worth arriving early for the spaces.
