Brze činjenice: Vožnja Parenzanom znači pedaliranje duž rute duge 123 kilometra kojom su nekada vozili parni vozovi između Trsta i Poreča. Više od 50 tunela i bezbroj kamenih mostova ukrašava stazu, uklesanu direktno u stenu istarske obale.
Istaknuto: Kod tunela br. 52 u blizini Grožnjana, staza izlazi iz potpunog mraka na ivicu litice s pogledom na dolinu reke Mirne 100 metara ispod. Kameni drenažni kanali uz stazu i dalje nose tragove klepanja austrougarskih zidara iz 1902. godine.
