Istaknuto: One of the museum's most prized possessions is a first edition of Christopher Columbus's letter announcing his discovery of the New World, printed in Barcelona in 1493. Visitors can also stand in the exact room where the navigator supposedly stayed, with original 15th-century wooden ceilings and Canary Island dragon tree beams still overhead.
