Brze činjenice: Home to the second-largest collection of primate species in the United States, this zoo lets you walk through a rainforest habitat where monkeys swing freely above your head. The zoo also features a 2-acre Australian adventure where you can hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies in an open paddock.
Istaknuto: Inside the Primate, Cat and Aquatics Building, you can watch tigers swimming underwater through massive viewing windows, a rare behavior to witness up close. The zoo also runs a dedicated veterinary hospital that treats over 4,000 animals each year, offering behind-the-scenes tours where you can see surgeries and rehabilitation in action.
