Brze činjenice: Over 4.000 genstande af usbekisk kunsthåndværk findes i en tidligere diplomatpalads fra 1930'erne. Håndskårne trælofter, farverige suzani-broderier og glaseret keramik fra hele Centralasien fylder hver eneste krog.
Istaknuto: Indgangshallen er et eneste stort kunstværk: hver eneste centimeter af loftet er dækket af håndskårne og guldmalede træpaneler, skabt af mestre fra Khiva og Bukhara. Vær opmærksom på den hemmelige indre gårdhave med en springvand omgivet af blå glaserede fliser, hvor lyden af vand blandes med duften af jasmin om foråret.
