Go on a clear weekday morning to get the rooftop to yourself. Sunset is spectacular but draws the biggest crowds, especially on weekends.

- Wear comfortable shoes, the glass escalator takes you up but you'll walk down through ten floors of exhibits.
- Skip the temporary exhibitions if you're short on time, the permanent collection on the middle floors tells the strongest Antwerp story.
- Visit the ground floor's 'Depot' glass wall to see thousands of stored objects, it's visible without a ticket.
