Hızlı bilgiler: This wooden and stone building was built by the first black millionaire of Jamaica, George Stiebel Devon. His story of rising from the son of slaves to a plantation owner and banker still inspires visitors today.

The best photos of the front facade are taken in the early morning hours, before 10 AM, when the light is most beautiful.
Skip the guided vehicle tour of the estate, you get much more by exploring the rooms on your own.
Bring a hat and water, there is not much shade in the garden during the midday hours.
