Bodega Tacama
Ziyaret için en iyi zaman
Visit between March and May during the harvest season when the vineyard is buzzing with activity and you can watch the grape crushing process up close. Mornings around 10 am are ideal to beat the desert heat and crowds.
Bütçe ipuçları
The standard tour and tasting costs around 40-50 soles per person (roughly $11-14 USD), which includes a guided walk through the vineyards and production areas plus samples of four wines and four piscos. Skip the overpriced lunch at the on-site restaurant and grab a table at one of the small cevicherías in nearby Ica instead.

Hakkında
Hızlı bilgiler: Peru's oldest winery has been producing wine and pisco since 1540, making it one of the oldest vineyards in the Americas. The winery uses a gravity-fed irrigation system that still relies on channels built by pre-Columbian cultures over 1,000 years ago.
Öne çıkanlar: Visitors can taste Tacama's award-winning pisco right next to a 400-year-old olive tree that has witnessed every harvest since colonial times. The winery still ferments some of its wines in massive clay amphorae buried underground, a technique inherited from Indigenous winemakers that gives the wine a distinctly earthy, mineral finish.

- Ask for the bodega tour in Spanish if you can , the English-speaking guides sometimes rush through, while Spanish tours go deeper into the fermentation details.
- The best photo spot is the long corridor of towering eucalyptus trees leading to the main entrance, especially in late afternoon golden light.
- Skip the sweet wine samples if you're short on time and focus on the Quebranta pisco, which won gold at the 2019 Brussels Spirits Awards.
- Arrive on a weekday before 11 am to have the tasting room nearly to yourself , tour buses start rolling in around noon.
