- The alpine garden section is often overlooked but has over 500 species of mountain plants from the Alps.
- Bring a small notebook for plant labeling sketches, the signage uses Latin botanical names perfect for learning.
- Visit just before closing time at 6 PM to catch the warm golden light filtering through the tropical greenhouse glass.
