Early morning before nine o'clock gives both the most active flamingos and the softest light for reflections. December to February is also the best time, as the rains in the Andes have filled the lagoons with food.

快速信息: 湖水的含盐量接近海水的十倍，但浅水底部却充满生机。在海拔2300米、世界第三大盐沼的中心，旺季时会有多达40000只、来自三个物种的火烈鸟聚集于此。
亮点: 一群粉色的鸟靠吃变得更粉：火烈鸟的颜色来自在盐水中大量繁殖的丰年虾，猎物越多，羽色越鲜艳。趁风势渐缓时走到盐壳上，听每一步像踩碎玻璃般嘎吱作响，镜面般的泻湖将群山倒映成双。
内部小贴士
- Put on your sunglasses already at the entrance, the salt reflections are blinding between ten and four.
- Aim for weekdays before eight o'clock, then you'll have almost the whole place to yourself.
- Walk to the far end of the boardwalk and sit still for ten minutes, then the flamingos will dare to come close.
- Bring a windbreaker, cold gusts blow in from the Andes even in the middle of summer.
