Weather was brutal in April, super hot and dusty. Best to visit in winter months. Could be better organized for tourists though, felt a bit chaotic.
Local tip: Skip the pricey cafes near Mehrangarh Fort and eat at the lane behind it. Authentic Rajasthani thali for half the price. Also carry cash, many places don’t take cards.
If you're here at sunset, catch the fort’s light show, it’s worth it. Also, use auto-rickshaws with meters or agree on price beforehand, they try to overcharge tourists a lot.
Jodhpur's blue streets and fort views are stunning but can get really crowded midday. Bring water and comfy shoes for the heat. A couple days here is enough.
Loved wandering the old city walls and sampling chai from small cafes. Friendly locals but watch out for aggressive souvenir sellers near the fort. Budget-friendly stay options everywhere.
