Found the vibe super chill here. People are friendly, and the blend of old and new architecture is neat. Food prices were reasonable, but hit some tourist traps for meals.
The backwaters are great but don't base your whole trip on them. Fort Kochi at sunset is magical with far fewer crowds on weekdays.
Weather was humid but the coastal breeze makes it bearable. Loved the sea food variety and the local spices. 3 days felt just right to explore it all.
If you want to tour Kochi, rent a bike. Taxis here can charge wild prices, especially near tourist spots.
Would say it's decent for a short break. The nightlife is almost non-existent, but day trips around the city kept me busy. Weather can be a bit unpredictable.
