快速信息: King Thirumalai Nayak commissioned this Indo-Saracenic palace in 1636, and it originally sprawled four times its current size. The courtyard alone features 248 massive pillars, each carved from a single stone block and towering 20 meters high.

The throne chamber still carries faint traces of original murals painted with natural pigments and gold leaf, visible only in specific low light conditions.
