快速信息: 登顶后，徒步者可俯瞰濑户内海全景，这一景观曾被法国旅游指南《米其林》评为世界第三。红叶谷路线约有近900级石阶，是通往535米高峰的三条小径之一。
亮点: 在上坡的雪松林中，野生鹿会径直走到徒步小径旁，山顶上有一座小神社，供奉着一盏据称自公元806年以来持续燃烧的火焰。这同一把火曾被用来点燃广岛和平纪念公园的和平之火，使这座山峰成为日本坚韧历史的活纽带。
内部小贴士
- 请穿着抓地力好的登山鞋，石阶在雨后会长满苔藓变得湿滑，早晨也多露水。
- 西侧的大圣院路线比红叶谷人少，沿途还经过历史悠久的石像，喜欢清静可选此路。
- 若想观赏日出，请带上头灯，黎明前浓密的树冠下小径十分昏暗。
- 不必去山顶餐厅，可在大圣院附近野餐，那里的视野更好，人也更少。
