Plan language:

Stand in awe before one of the world's most powerful hydroelectric structures, where 6,000 cubic meters of water crash through every second. Feel the ground tremble beneath your feet as you watch the concrete giant reshape an entire Siberian river.
Spy Krasnoyarsk spread out like a map from this hilltop perch. Feel the wind whip around you as the golden dome catches the first rays of dawn.

Step inside the childhood home of Russia's master historical painter, preserved exactly as it was in the 1840s. Wander through rooms filled with his family's Cossack artifacts and see where Surikov first picked up a brush.

An island escape right in the middle of the Yenisei River, minutes from Krasnoyarsk's city center. Walk, swim, ski, or just sprawl on sandy banks with skyline views.

Three days is enough. Anything more and you're stretching it unless you plan day trips into the surrounding nature.
Honestly a bit underwhelming. The Soviet architecture is interesting for an hour but gets repetitive. Felt a bit unsafe walking alone at night near the train station.
Download the 2GIS app before you arrive. Google Maps barely works here and 2GIS has all the bus routes and accurate walking paths.
Went in July and the weather was perfect. Warm days, cool nights. The Strelka area is great for evening walks with local beer.
Bring cash. Lots of places especially smaller cafes and market stalls don't take cards. ATMs are around but some charge high fees.
