Visiting between 7-10 am during December to April is best. At this time the water flow is sufficient, but crowds are fewer and the weather is clear.

快速信息: Esta cascada, que fluye a través de los densos bosques del distrito de Ratnapura, cae desde una altura de 30 metros y tiene exactamente la forma de una hoja del árbol Bodhi. El agua cae en tres niveles y se une al río Kuruvita, que más adelante forma parte del río Kalu.
亮点: En la temporada de lluvias, cuando el caudal de agua está en su punto máximo, el rugido de la cascada se escucha claramente a un kilómetro de distancia y el rocío de agua crea un arcoíris a su alrededor. - Wear shoes with good grip due to the narrow valley and slippery path; going in slippers or sandals can be dangerous.
- There is a small platform on the left side of the waterfall which offers the best photo angle of the entire waterfall; reach there before 8 am on weekends.
- Do not swim directly under the waterfall, the water pressure can be very strong; instead bathe in the natural pool formed on the side.
- There are no food shops nearby, so be sure to carry a water bottle and some light snacks with you.
