- Wear reef-safe sunscreen and water shoes, sharp coral can be close to shore.
- Arrive before 8am or after 4pm to dodge the crowds that fill the central beach midday.
- Head to the rocky right-hand side for clearer snorkel spots and more fish, skip the busiest sandy strip if you want quieter water.
- Bring a lightweight towel and a waterproof camera, lockers and storage are rare on day trips.
