亮点: 雕像的王冠有七道光芒和25扇窗，登上王冠需要攀爬354级狭窄的螺旋阶梯，能听见铁架在海风中轻微的吱嘎声和远处船笛的回响。法国工程师古斯塔夫·埃菲尔设计了内部铁骨，外壳只用约3/32英寸厚的铜板覆盖，原本铜色在约20年内风化成绿色，而台座上的灯在1886到1902年间曾当作真正的引航灯。
