快速信息: 富国岛的鱼露生产历史已有200多年，这家工厂至今仍使用传统的木桶，每只木桶可盛放多达10吨。该岛每年生产约3000万升鱼露，其中最高等级的鱼露要在这些巨型桶中陈酿12至15个月。
亮点: 每只木桶都由本土的波依罗伊木手工打造，这种树仅生长在富国岛，会在陈酿过程中为鱼露赋予独特香气。工人们至今仍赤脚在桶内踩踏鱼肉和盐的混合物，这种传统方法被认为能产生最稳定的发酵。

- Skip the gift shop at the end and ask to taste the 15-month aged sauce instead of the standard 6-month batch.
- Wear closed-toe shoes as the factory floor can be slippery from oil residue and fish drippings.
- Bring a small bottle or container to buy the premium grade sauce, they sell refills from the barrel at bulk prices.
- Photography is allowed but avoid using flash near the fermentation barrels as light can affect the aging process.
