Fakte të shpejta: Stretching over 2,300 kilometers along Queensland's coast, this marine system covers an area larger than Italy. Home to over 1,500 fish species, 400 types of coral, and 30 species of whales and dolphins, it's the only living structure visible from space.

Between November and March, the reef hosts one of nature's most synchronized events: over 100 species of coral spawn simultaneously in a single night lit by moonlight.
