Koha më e mirë për të vizituar
Sunset brings a magical atmosphere when the lighthouse takes on a golden color, and the view reaches the Italian coast. The season from May to October offers the best weather for walking and photography.
Këshilla për buxhetin
Entry to the lighthouse grounds is free, while a tour of the interior and climbing to the top costs 5 euros per person. We recommend bringing your own picnic as there are no shops or restaurants nearby.

Fakte të shpejta: It is the oldest active lighthouse on the Adriatic, and its light first shone in 1818. It only got electricity in 1960, and until then it was maintained by three keepers working eight-hour shifts.
Pikat kryesore: The stone for its construction was brought by ships from a quarry on the island of Brač, the same one used to build Diocletian's Palace in Split. From a height of 36 meters, the view stretches across three countries at once: Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy, and on clear days even the outlines of the Alps can be seen.
Këshilla të brendshme
- Wear comfortable sneakers as the path to the lighthouse is rocky and uneven, not suitable for high heels.
- The best photos are taken from the stone shore to the right of the lighthouse, where you can also capture the old stone pier in the frame.
- Avoid June weekends as it can get crowded here due to nearby campsites.
- Bring a windbreaker even in good weather, as the bora wind can appear suddenly and blow very strongly.
