Fakte të shpejta: More than 600 kilometers of marked trails run through the wooded hills of this mountain range, home to protected species such as the fire salamander. The highest peak, Zengő, reaches 682 meters and offers a panoramic view that on clear days extends to the Danube River.

Pikat kryesore: At the top of Zengő lies an abandoned Soviet military watchtower, completely overtaken by moss and graffiti. Climbing up to it just at dawn, when the fog covers the valleys and only the birds can be heard, feels like discovering a scene from an apocalyptic movie.
