4. Snatch-and-grab theft

5. Overpriced tricycle rides
Si funksionon: Tricycle and habal-habal drivers quote high flat fares to visitors who do not know local rates, especially for short hops between landmarks.
Si ta shmangni: Ask the price before boarding and compare with the approximate 30 to 50 peso rate for short rides. Negotiate firmly or walk.
