Fakte të shpejta: This 5-hectare square becomes the city's center of celebration every year, attracting more than 50,000 residents on New Year's Eve. Its strategic position connects Karl Marx Street with Lenin Street, making it the zero kilometer point of the city of Irkutsk.

During summer, this area turns into an open stage for free concerts that draw up to 10,000 spectators sitting on the grass.
