Fakte të shpejta: At 1,560 meters above sea level, the mountain crossroads of Cruz de Tejeda marks the geographic heart of Gran Canaria. The landmark stone cross that gives this place its name was erected in 1946 to commemorate the area's history as a meeting point for shepherds and travelers.
