Rreth

Wear comfortable shoes, most paths in the gardens are gravel or brick and involve steps.
Head to the riverfront terrace and the reflecting pool for the best photo opportunities around golden hour.
Skip peak weekend midday hours, instead visit on a weekday morning to avoid crowds and school groups.
Allow time to enjoy the gardens first, then move indoors to the galleries when the light shifts and the courtyard calms down.
