1. Karnak Temple

2. Valley of the Kings
Brze činjenice: Više od 60 faraona i kraljevskih ličnosti uklesano je u gole litice, ali samo je Tutankamonova grobnica pronađena potpuno netaknuta, s više od 5.000 blaga unutra. Najveći kompleks, KV5, otvara se u preko 120 odaja, a istraživači vjeruju da dalje grobnice možda još uvijek leže skrivene ispod doline.
3. Ramesseum
Njegov 19-metarski divovski kolos, srušen na zemlju, svjedoči o faraonovoj titanskoj veličini, a nadahnuo je i Shelleyja. Reljefi na vrhu pilona i jutarnja svjetlost iznad tvoje glave odnose te u stari Egipat.
Brze činjenice: Sonet „Ozymandias" engleskog pjesnika Shelleyja inspirirao je ogromni kolos koji je pao na zemlju u dvorištu, a koji je prikazivao Ramzesa II. Kolos je nekada bio visok oko 19 metara i težak gotovo 1.000 tona, a sama glava duga je 2,5 metra.
Istaknuto: Glava kolosa, visoka oko 2,5 metra i teška 7 tona, i danas leži na zemlji, a upravo je ta glava bila muzom za Shelleyjev sonet. Astronomski ornament na grobnici prikazuje nebesku boginju Nut, a natpis star gotovo 3.000 godina ostao je potpuno netaknut.
