Brze činjenice: Svakog jutra ovdje se istovari do 50 tona svježe ribe koju donose lokalni ribari na tradicionalnim čamcima. Cjenkanje počinje još prije svitanja i odvija se po principu aukcije: ko glasnije vikne, taj će dobiti najbolji ulov.
Istaknuto: Ovdje se prvi put u životu može probati meso ajkule, ispečeno direktno na žaru pored pristaništa, lokalni kuvari ga pripremaju s ljutom paprikom i limetom. Ribari dozvoljavaju da se uđe u njihove čamce i fotografira s tromentarskim ajkulama čekićarama dok još leže na betonskom podu.
