Teave
Kiired faktid: Kaitseala kaitseb 47 000 hektarit iidset vulkaanilist kivimit, kus mõned sambad ulatuvad 100 meetri kõrguseni taevasse. Igal aastal jalutab selle radadel üle 200 000 külastaja, kuigi 79 nimelise kivimoodustise seas on vaid 13 hõlpsasti juhuslikele matkajatele ligipääsetavad.
Esiletõstmised: Kohalikud on andnud igale sambale hüüdnime selle järgi, mida see meenutab: Vanaisa, Suled, Ait, isegi kivi nimega Konn. Kõige julgem traditsioon on "stolbism", kohalik spordiala, kus ronijad ronivad siledatel graniitsammastel ilma köiteta, kasutades vaid jõudu ja aastakümnete jooksul peredes edasi antud võtteid.
Sisekujunduse nõuanded
- Take the bus 50 or 37 from Krasnoyarsk city center to the Laletino stop, which drops you right at the main trail entrance.
- For the best photo of the pillars, hike to the viewing platform at the Second Pillar around 9 AM when the morning light hits the granite face.
- Skip the crowded Central Pillars area on weekends and head to the Takmak district instead, which has equally impressive rocks and far fewer people.
- Wear sturdy hiking boots with good grip, as the granite surfaces can be deceptively slippery even when dry.
