Faits rapides: Ancien chantier naval de l'époque coloniale britannique, il est aujourd'hui l'un des plus anciens chantiers navals encore en activité de la région. Sur une superficie de plus de 60 hectares, les artisans y construisent et réparent plus de 20 navires par an, des petits bateaux de pêche aux grands cargos.
Points forts: Imaginez le bruit des marteaux qui résonne dans les vieux hangars en acier tandis que la limaille de métal crisse sous vos pieds : c'est la bande-son qui n'a pas changé depuis 1957. Dans l'atelier secret numéro 7, des artisans utilisent encore des techniques d'assemblage de plaques de navires qui ont disparu dans la plupart des ports du monde.
