La Fontaine des Quatre Fleuves, réalisée par Bernini en 1651, représente des dieux fluviaux symbolisant quatre continents, avec un lion étonnamment réaliste qui semblait si vivant qu'il aurait effrayé les habitants lors de sa révélation.
