Poetto Beach
Meilleur moment pour visiter
Visit between May and September for swimming weather. Late afternoon (4-7 PM) offers the best light and cooler temperatures, plus the kiosks come alive with an aperitivo crowd.
Conseils budget
The beach is completely free and public. Save money by bringing your own food and drinks, as kiosk prices are higher than inland cafes. Parking costs around 1-2 EUR per hour in the paid lots closer to the kiosks.

- Rent a bike along the Lungomare Promenade, which stretches nearly the full length of the beach and offers the best views without fighting for parking.
- Head to the far eastern end near Margine Rosso if you want quieter water and fewer crowds than the central kiosk areas.
- Bring water shoes in July and August when the seabed develops a thin layer of algae that can be slippery.
- The kiosk closest to the Sella del Diavolo trailhead serves the best gelato and has the most shaded seating.
