Faits rapides: Des boutiques en bois colorées bordent une rue étroite en bord de mer, et un marché nocturne animé remplit l'air de sons de woks, de rythmes reggae et de la douce fumée des fruits de mer grillés. Plus de 30 étals locaux et restaurants en bord de mer servent tout, du calamar grillé au charbon aux desserts à la noix de coco qui accompagnent parfaitement une bière thaï glacée.
Points forts: Au coucher du soleil, la jetée devient une scène ambrée où les pêcheurs déchargent des paniers de maquereaux argentés et de crevettes tigres, l'air salin se mêlant à l'ail frit et à la fumée de noix de coco. Lors de certaines nuits de pleine lune, environ 12 bateaux lanternes glissent dans la baie, leurs lanternes en papier se reflétant comme une chaîne de pièces oranges tandis que les villageois applaudissent et battent les tambours.
